So this week Michelle has been super stressed with midterms coming up and as most of you know she has to take midterms AND write one for the ASL class she is teaching! So to be a supportive husband I try not to bother her and I keep out of her hair. To do this I figured getting out of the house would be best. So now what to do???? Hmmmm I have an idea!!
It had rained and snowed for a few weeks so most of the trails out here were closed but they opened them up yesterday and lets just say the trails still had a little mud hanging around. I went solo to a nearby area for riding and I saw a couple quads come out that were totally clean so I thought that the trails must have dried up. Then I saw about 5 dirtbikes come off the same trail absolutely covered in mud. At that point I knew it was going to be a good day. After the first 2 min on the trail I hit the first mud puddle and then about every minute I was in the mud. I almost got stuck in one mud hole because it was so thick and deep. I was having so much fun I didnt realize that I was soaked to the bone until I got back to the truck. I had to strip down to my skives and luckily I had a towel in the truck to wrap around me on the way home. Needless to say I now have permanently stained riding attire. I have not had that much fun in a long time. Funny thing was Michelle didnt even want to come the next time I go out.... weird.
