Busy Saturday - October 15th

October 15th started off with a bang!  Rachel, my roommate, was in a car accident on her way to work at the Myriad Botanical Gardens.  Myriad Garden was having a free day full of concerts and fun activities for the whole family all day.  Rachel called me to see if I could pick her up and take her downtown.  I quickly finished getting ready and this is what I found....

She had been hit by a person who ran a red light. Her car was totaled.  I don't know that you can see it in the pictures but the tire is leaning in and does not move at all when driving.  Now Rachel has to go car shopping again.

After the police gave us the okay to leave I dropped Rachel off downtown at the Myriad Botanical Garden where she was working for the day.  When I went back to pick her up for the day we decided to stay and walk around for a little bit so I parked the car, which took 40 min to find a spot.

Once we were done walking inside the dome full of these beautiful plants, we went to where the concert was about to start.  This is us sitting on the grass waiting for Pat Green, a country singer.
I should probably mention that Rachel does not like country music at all so we only stayed and listened to 2 songs.  It was lots of fun!
